The Crochet Club is tailored for grades 3-5 as an introduction to crochet. The curriculum involves teaching one stitch per week for practice at home, with the last two weeks dedicated to a small project like making flowers, hair ties, or coasters, depending on the students' ability. Beyond crafting, crochet offers significant benefits for students, including developing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, improving focus and concentration through counting and following patterns, and fostering patience and persistence as they work on projects. It also provides an outlet for creativity and self-expression through the choice of projects and colors.
Tuition includes all materials for the class.
