Dance with Jersey City Dance Academy

In this class students will learn the fundamentals of four (4) styles of dance; Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. Students will travel through the space with varying dynamics such as tempo (fast vs. slow) shape (sharp and angular vs. soft and curved), and texture (gooey, strong, light, heavy, and smooth). As the class progresses students will travel across the floor with different jumps, turns, kicks and movement patterns. Dancers will learn dance combinations for each style of dance at the end of each class. The program will work on collaboration with other students and the instructor to create group choreography.
